CAMDEN - Patrick Joseph Leister "That Guy," 31, of Camden, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. He was born on April 24, 1979, in Dover, to Derek and Ruth Ann Orendorf Leister of Camden. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Christi Elliott Leister, whom he married on Dec. 29, 2001; his grandmother, Marian Leister of Camden; his children, Timothy Aaron Leister, Brayden Patrick Leister, and Catelyn Sophia Leister; a brother, William Leister of Camden; and a sister-in-law, Lora Stafford of Denton, Md.; many extended family members and close friends.
Patrick was a 1997 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and then went on to earn his Computer Network Degree from Delaware Technical College graduating in 2002. He was a computer network engineer for Delaware Department of Transportation. He was known as "That Guy" who always made you laugh, just a stand up guy who will be truly missed. He was an exceptionally devoted and loving husband, father, son, son-in-law and friend.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 12, in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md., and from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, March, 13, in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m. in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 306 W Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
